Arched Display Cabinet with Mixed Storage and Integrated Lighting

The Homsee Arched Display Cabinet with Mixed Storage measures 92.5" H × 52.6" W × 18.9" D and weighs 222.7 lbs once assembled. A standard 8-foot (96") ceiling leaves about 3.5" above the crown molding.

If you build it lying down and then tip it upright, check that your ceiling clears its diagonal of roughly 94.5" first. Measure doorways and stair turns too: the longest box is 97" long.

It combines four kinds of storage in one 52.6"-wide piece:

• Two arched display cabinets on the sides, behind hinged glass doors that keep dust off
• A lit open-shelf section in the center
• Three drawers, each 14.6" W × 14.3" D, with smooth slide rails
• Two lower cabinets behind solid doors

Use the glass and open shelves for glassware, books and decor, and keep everyday items out of sight in the drawers and lower cabinets.

Each shelf holds up to 22 lbs, and each drawer also holds up to 22 lbs, with the weight spread evenly. That suits stacked dinnerware, a row of hardcover books or a set of wine glasses on a single shelf.

Put heavier pieces on the lower shelves and in the bottom cabinets, which keeps the center of gravity low. Don't climb on the shelves or use open doors and drawers as a step.

The cabinet has built-in warm white LED strips that light each shelf evenly, plus metal triangle lights angled at 45° that shine down onto the items below for soft highlights and shadows. You can choose from 3 brightness levels and dim the lights with the remote; a lower setting also cuts glare on the glass doors.

The lighting is plug-in, connecting through a junction box, a switch and a plug, as shown in the assembly manual. Keep the LED parts dry, and unplug the cabinet before cleaning near the lights.

It is built from a mix of solid wood and manufactured wood, with solid pine panels, tempered glass in the arched doors and a beige multi-coat painted finish. Tempered glass is much stronger than ordinary glass and breaks into small, blunt pieces instead of sharp shards. The finish resists water, stains, mold and mildew.

The arched doors give a classic French Country and Traditional look, and the cabinet belongs to Homsee's award-winning modular storage system (MUSE Design Award, Archlight Library).

Lighted glass cabinets work best for pieces that look good when lit from above: stemware, fine china, ceramics, glass domes and small sculptures. The center open shelves have about 12.8" of space between them, which fits tall vases and upright books.

LEDs run cool and give off very little UV light, so they are gentler on pieces that can fade than halogen bulbs. Group items in odd numbers, leave some empty space on each shelf, and keep the brightest or most reflective pieces near the light strips. Store table linens and serving pieces in the drawers below.

Yes. At 92.5" tall, the cabinet must be secured to the wall, and anti-tip hardware is included in the box. Fix it into a wall stud or use anchors rated for your wall type, and get professional advice if you're unsure.

Open only one drawer at a time, load the heaviest items low, and never let children climb on the shelves, doors or drawers.

The cabinet ships in 3 boxes:

Wipe the painted surfaces with a soft, dry cloth and clean up spills promptly. Clean the tempered glass with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and excess moisture.

Unplug the lights before cleaning near the LED strips. Put protective pads under heavy or rough items, check and tighten the hardware from time to time, and make sure the anti-tip device stays secure.

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. The item must be unused, unassembled, undamaged and in its original packaging, so keep the boxes until you're sure it's right for you.

Return shipping fees are deducted from the refund after inspection: $80 per package each way for courier delivery ($160 in total), or $300 per item each way for truck delivery ($600 in total). Furniture bought on homsee.com has a 2-year limited warranty covering materials and manufacturing defects, structural frame parts, workmanship, and non-lighting electronic components. Fabrics, seat cushions, leather covers and LED lighting are covered for 1 year.
