Height Adjustable Standing Desk with Memory Presets and Digital Display

The Homsee Height Adjustable Standing Desk raises from 29.5" (75 cm) to 44.9" (114 cm), measured from the floor to the top of the desktop. That is 15.4" of travel: the lowest setting matches a standard 29–30" seated desk, and the highest gives a full standing height.

The electric lift moves at about 0.8" (20 mm) per second, so going from fully lowered to fully raised takes roughly 20 seconds.

Set the desk so your elbows bend at about 90° with your forearms level and your shoulders relaxed, and keep the top edge of your monitor at or just below eye level.

Most adults work comfortably at a standing height between 38" and 46". As a rough guide (wearing shoes):

• 5'2"–5'6": standing height of about 39–41"
• 5'7"–5'10": about 41–43"
• 5'11"–6'0": about 44–45"

This desk's 44.9" maximum covers most people up to about 6'0". Its 29.5" minimum is a standard seated desk height; if you are shorter than about 5'6", raise your chair and use a footrest when sitting.

The keypad under the front edge has up (▲) and down (▼) keys and four numbered memory keys (1–4). Use ▲ or ▼ to reach the height you want, then save it to one of the number keys. After that, one press of that key moves the desk back to the saved height.

Most electric standing desks offer three or four presets; this one has four, so two people can each save a sitting and a standing height. A common setup is 1 for sitting, 2 for standing, and 3 and 4 for the second person. To change a preset, move the desk to the new height and save it to the same key again; the new height replaces the old one.

The desktop is rated for 110 lbs, spread evenly across the surface. That covers a typical home office setup, such as two monitors on arms, a laptop, speakers and a desk lamp, with room to spare.

Keep heavy items near the two lifting columns, don't sit or stand on the desk, and put a full-size PC tower on the floor or a CPU stand rather than on the desktop.

The desktop measures 63" W × 31.5" D with a 3.5"-thick edge. Two 27" monitors take up about 48–50" side by side, so they fit with space left for speakers or a lamp.

The 31.5" depth lets you sit an arm's length (about 20–30") from the screens and still keep a keyboard, mouse and notebook in front of you. Plan for a 63" × 31.5" footprint plus about 3 feet behind the desk for your chair.

The frame uses two lifting columns joined by a steel crossbar and wrapped in wide pedestal-style sleeves, and the desk weighs 91.8 lbs. The weight and wide base keep side-to-side sway low while you type at standing height.

For the steadiest result, set the desk on a level floor, re-tighten the frame bolts after the first week of use, and keep the heaviest items close to the columns.

The motor runs at under 50 dB, quieter than a normal conversation (about 60 dB), so you can change height during a video call.

The lift system is tested for more than 10,000 up-and-down cycles. At four adjustments per workday, that is roughly 10 years of use. The motor and keypad are covered by Homsee's 2-year warranty.

The desktop is made of P2 MDF and Eco Board with a painted walnut finish, and it sits on a steel lifting frame. P2 refers to CARB Phase 2, the U.S. formaldehyde emission standard for composite wood. The desk is engineered wood, not solid wood.

The finish resists water, stains, mold and mildew. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and blot spills right away. For sticky spots, use a cloth lightly dampened with mild soap, then dry the surface. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.

Yes. The desk ships flat-packed in one box (55.1" × 19.1" × 9.4", 101.7 lbs), so plan for two people to carry it inside. Assembly takes about 90 minutes with two adults, using the included hardware plus a screwdriver, a hammer and a pencil.

A widely used guideline is the 20-8-2 pattern from Cornell University ergonomics research: in each half hour, sit for about 20 minutes, stand for about 8, and move around for about 2.

Standing all day isn't the goal. Standing still for long periods can cause leg and foot fatigue, so keep alternating and consider an anti-fatigue mat. Once your sitting and standing heights are saved to the memory keys, each switch takes one button press.

Return shipping fees are deducted from the refund after inspection: $80 per package each way for courier delivery ($160 in total), or $300 per item each way for truck delivery ($600 in total).
