Solid Wood Round Pedestal Dining Table

The top measures 90.5" L × 39.9" W and is a long rounded rectangle (racetrack shape) with fully curved ends, 1.6" thick. "Round pedestal" refers to the base: two 19.7"-diameter fluted column pedestals, with the top extending about 11.8" beyond each column.

The assembled table weighs 202.8 lbs, so it stays put and feels solid.

It seats up to 8 people. The 90.5" top gives about 24–30" of length per diner, enough for three chairs on each long side plus one at each curved end.

Because the base is two columns rather than four corner legs, chairs can go anywhere along the sides and nobody has to straddle a leg.

Plan for a room of at least 13.5 ft × 9.3 ft (about 163" × 112"). That gives the recommended 36" of clearance around the 90.5" × 39.9" top for pulling out chairs.

Allow 42–48" on any side where people walk behind seated diners. The curved ends soften traffic flow, so the table fits a long room more easily than a square-cornered one of the same size. Measure the room and any furniture that stays before you order.

The tabletop is rated for 440 lbs. Two large fluted column pedestals carry the 1.6"-thick top, and felt pads under the bases protect floors and keep the table quiet if you shift it.

The curved ends, recessed sides and softened edges help reduce bumps in busy homes. Spread heavy items across the top, and check the hardware periodically to keep it steady.

The table has a natural laminated wood finish with a red oak grain look that resists water, stains, mold and mildew.
