Yes. The chair in every set is also sold on its own in sets of 2, 4, 6 or 8, so added chairs match exactly. Most of our sets use a table that seats up to 8, so you can start with 4 or 6 chairs and add a pair later: Upholstered Velvet Dining Chair.

Leave at least 36 in between the table edge and the walls or furniture so chairs can slide out, and 42–48 in beside a main walkway. With 36 in on every side, an 84 × 35.4 in table needs about 13 × 9 ft of floor, and the 70.9 × 29.5 in Oval-End table about 12 × 8.5 ft. Tape the outline on the floor before ordering.

Yes. The chair seat is 19.3 in high and our tables are 29.5–31.3 in tall, which leaves about 10–12 in between seat and tabletop, the recommended range for legroom. More in standard dining table height.

A set puts the table and a matched number of chairs in one order. If you already own chairs, or want a different count, buy the dining table on its own and add the velvet chairs in sets of 2, 4, 6 or 8. Compare the set price with the table and chairs on their own before you order.

Wipe the tabletop with a soft, dry cloth, clean spills right away and use coasters or placemats under hot or wet items.
