The desk is 31.1" tall, about 1–3" above the standard 28–30" range (29" is the most common desk height). Desks around 30" suit people roughly 5'8"–6'0", and users taller than about 6'4" are often most comfortable at 31–33", so this height favors taller users.

• Mount a cable tray or basket under the back edge of the top
• Route cords down a back leg with adhesive clips or a cable sleeve
• Put a power strip in the tray so only one cord runs to the wall

For supplies, add a rolling drawer unit or file cabinet that slides under or beside the desk. Keeping cords and clutter off the surface is what makes a large desk feel calm to work at.
