Large Red Oak Solid Wood Desk

The Homsee Large Red Oak table measures 83.9" L × 35.4" W × 31.1" H, with a 1.4"-thick top and softly rounded corners. It stands on two broad panel legs, each 27.6" wide, and weighs about 129 lbs.

At 31.1" tall, it sits slightly above the standard 28–30" table height, and the two-piece top shows a continuous wood grain across both boards.

It's about 1–3" taller than the standard 28–30" desk height. Most people make it comfortable by raising an adjustable office chair until their elbows sit at about 90° over the keyboard, then adding a footrest if needed.

The extra height leaves plenty of room to cross your legs or slide in a drawer cart. If you want to switch between sitting and standing, the Homsee Height Adjustable Standing Desk is the better fit.

The desktop measures 83.9" × 35.4", almost 7 feet of surface. That's more than most executive desks, which run 59–72" wide, so it holds a dual-monitor setup, a laptop, books and paperwork at once.

Two people can work side by side, each with about 42" of width, or use it as a small meeting table.

The desk has a clean top without built-in grommets, so add your own under-desk organization:

• Mount a cable tray or basket under the back edge of the top
• Use adhesive clips to route cords down the inside of a panel leg
• Put a power strip in the tray so only one cord runs to the wall

Good cable management keeps cords organized and the surface clutter-free. Because the panel legs are at the ends, cords drop straight down behind the desk without crossing your legroom. The desk has no drawers, so add a rolling drawer unit for supplies.

The tabletop is rated for 220 lbs. Support rails under the top tie it to the two 27.6"-wide panel legs with stainless steel connector plates, and concealed connector caps keep the hardware out of sight. The design is built to resist wobble.

Like a trestle base, the end panel legs keep the long sides free for legroom. The rounded edges and corners help reduce bumps in busy homes, and felt pads under the legs protect floors. Check and tighten the hardware periodically.

The table has a red-brown open-grain finish rated scratch-, stain-, fade- and warp-resistant.

• Wipe clean with mild soap and water, then dry with a soft cloth
• Avoid abrasive cleaners and don't let water stand on the surface
• Use coasters and placemats to protect the finish

A darker red-brown tone hides small everyday marks better than very light wood, but dust shows, so a quick dry-cloth wipe after meals keeps it looking clean. With regular care, a wood dining table can stay in daily use for decades.

Return shipping fees are deducted from the refund after inspection: $80 per package each way for courier delivery ($160 in total), or $300 per item each way for truck delivery ($600 in total).
