Grand Framed-Glass Library Cabinet

The cabinet measures 94.4" H × 66.3" W × 15.7" D (66.3" is the width at the crown molding; the body below is 63" wide). Under a standard 96" ceiling, that leaves only about 1.6" above the crown.

Standing it upright after assembly takes about 95.7" of height (its diagonal), so it works only with ceilings of at least 8 feet. Assemble it close to its final spot and measure the ceiling there first.

The upper section has four small glass-door cabinets on top and four tall glass doors below them, with adjustable shelves inside. A marble-look counter divides the upper and lower sections. Below are two drawers and four cabinet doors for concealed storage.

The main display bays have shelves at about 14.9", 12.7" and 14.9" spacing, and the lower cabinets are about 27.1" tall inside.

The drawers measure 30.7" W × 11.8" D × 7.8" H outside (about 29.1" wide and 4.7" tall inside), sized for napkins, flatware and table linens. Keep stacks of heavy dinner plates in the lower cabinets.

Yes. The framed, mullioned doors use tempered glass, which is stronger than ordinary glass and breaks into small, dull pieces rather than sharp shards. The glass keeps books, dishes and glassware visible while protecting them from dust.

Clean the glass with a soft, lint-free cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner.

Yes. The shelves are adjustable, so you can raise or lower them to fit tall pitchers, oversized books or stacks of dishes, and rearrange the space as your storage needs change.

Re-check that each shelf sits level on all four supports after moving it, and keep heavier items on the lower shelves.

The body is engineered wood (MDF) with a warm wood veneer finish, rubberwood crown molding, a marble-look counter and gold-tone round knobs. The finish is scratch-, stain- and fade-resistant.

Wipe it with mild soap and water, then dry it with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and standing water, and use placemats or coasters on the counter.

Yes. With glass-door display above and drawers and cabinets below, it works as a china cabinet for dinnerware and glassware, a dining room hutch with the marble-look counter as a serving surface, or a home library for books and collectibles.

Its Traditional and Transitional styling, warm wood tones, framed glass and crown molding give it the presence of a built-in library and make it a focal point. At 94.4" tall, it puts vertical wall space to work, so you need fewer extra cabinets around the room.

Yes. Anti-tip hardware is included. At 94.4" tall and 300 lbs, the cabinet must be secured to the wall before you load the shelves.

Fasten the brackets into wall studs where possible, load the lower cabinets first, and open one drawer at a time.

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. The item must be unused, unassembled, undamaged and in its original packaging, so keep the boxes until you're sure it's right for you.

Return shipping fees are deducted from the refund after inspection: $80 per package each way for courier delivery ($160 in total), or $300 per item each way for truck delivery ($600 in total). Furniture bought on homsee.com has a 2-year limited warranty covering materials and manufacturing defects, structural frame parts, workmanship, and non-lighting electronic components. Fabrics, seat cushions, leather covers and LED lighting are covered for 1 year.
