6-Door Wardrobe Armoire with Drawers - Dark Brown

The Homsee 6-Door Wardrobe Armoire with Drawers measures 78.7" H × 61" W × 19.7" D and weighs 180.1 lbs. At 78.7" tall, it fits under a standard 8-foot ceiling with about 17" to spare.

As a freestanding piece, it can go on any wall, and its height puts vertical space to work in a small bedroom or guest room. Leave about 3 feet in front for the doors and drawers.

Behind six doors, four upper and two lower, it combines:

• A hanging rod for shirts, dresses and jackets
• Shelves for folded clothes, linens and boxes
• Three center drawers, each 29.7" W × 13.4" D × 8.7" H

All storage is enclosed behind doors or in drawers, which keeps dust off clothes and gives the room a clean, uncluttered look.

The wardrobe rod is rated for 26 lbs, and each shelf board and drawer for 18 lbs.

That suits everyday shirts, dresses and folded clothes. Hang heavy winter coats sparingly, and keep shoes and other heavy items on the lowest shelves rather than the upper ones.

Yes. Anti-tip hardware is included. Fasten the armoire to a wall stud, or use anchors rated for your wall, before you load it.

Once it's anchored, keep heavier items in the lower sections, open one drawer at a time, and don't let children climb on drawers or shelves.

The terms overlap. Both are tall, freestanding cabinets for clothes. A traditional wardrobe is mainly for hanging clothes, while an armoire is often more ornate, usually deeper and bulkier, and adds shelves and drawers.

This Homsee piece does both: a hanging rod, shelves and three drawers behind framed panel doors, so it can replace both a closet and a dresser in a room without built-in storage. At 19.7" deep, it is slimmer than a typical bulky armoire.

The doors and drawers have round antique-bronze knobs instead of long bar pulls. Round knobs don't stick out much, which is easier on hips and little heads in a busy bedroom.

They also suit the framed panel doors and give the armoire a classic look.

Wipe it with a cloth and mild soap and water, then dry it with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and standing water. The finish is rated scratch-, stain- and fade-resistant.

Use mats or trays under bottles and toiletries on the shelves so nothing leaves rings, and wipe up spills right away.

It ships flat-packed in 2 boxes:

• Box 1: 53.1" × 22.8" × 11.2", 101.8 lbs
• Box 2: 66.9" × 23.4" × 5.9", 99.9 lbs

Assembly takes about 180 minutes for two adults, using the included hardware plus a pencil, hammer and screwdriver. You can download the assembly manual (PDF) to preview the steps.

This listing is the Dark Brown version. Its rich, dark finish gives the framed panel doors a classic, traditional character and pairs well with warm wood floors and brass or bronze accents.

The same armoire, with identical dimensions and storage, is also available in White for a brighter look.
