Tela Compact Wardrobe

The Homsee Tela Compact Wardrobe measures 31.5" W × 23.6" D × 77.1" H. Its 23.6" depth is close to the 24" generally recommended for hanging clothes on standard hangers, and at 77.1" tall it fits under a standard 8-foot (96") ceiling with about 19" to spare.

Before ordering, measure the height, width and depth of the spot, and leave about 30–36" of clear floor in front so the two hinged doors and the drawers can open fully.

Two hinged doors open to an upper hanging section with a metal closet rod for shirts, blouses, jackets and dresses. Below it are 3 full-width drawers for folded clothes, underwear, socks and accessories.

Hinged doors open the whole hanging section at once, so you can see and reach everything inside, unlike sliding doors that only reveal half a wardrobe at a time.

Each of the 3 drawers measures 31.3" W × 16.3" D × 8.8" H on the outside, running almost the full width of the wardrobe. They glide on metal drawer slides and are sized for stacks of folded T-shirts, sweaters, pajamas and jeans.

Keep the heaviest folded items in the bottom drawer and avoid overfilling any single drawer so the slides keep running smoothly.

Yes. Secure it with an anti-tip kit. At 77.1" tall and 23.6" deep, the wardrobe should always be anchored to the wall after assembly. Fasten the kit into a wall stud where possible, or use anchors rated for your wall type.

Fill the drawers from the bottom up, keep heavy items low, and don't let children climb on open drawers or doors.

It is built from plywood, particleboard and MDF with reinforced plywood panels and aluminum alloy-framed doors. Every surface has a linen-beige, textile-grain melamine laminate finish that looks and feels like woven linen. It is engineered wood, not solid wood, but its wood-based panels feel sturdier and more like real furniture than the metal frames and gapped, slatted shelves of many closet kits.

Wipe the wardrobe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh cleaners and excess moisture, and dry any spills right away so they don't settle into the textured surface.

Yes. It is a freestanding wardrobe, so it gives you closet-style storage without cutting drywall, locating studs for closet tracks or making any permanent changes to your walls. That makes it a cost-effective alternative to a custom built-in and a practical choice for renters, guest rooms and bedrooms without a closet. Because it is furniture rather than a fixture, it can move with you, and it works just as well in an entryway or dressing area as in a bedroom. Its tall, furniture-style design uses wall height instead of floor space and gives an upscale, built-in look without any renovation.

The doors close over everything inside, so clothes stay out of sight and dust-free and the room looks tidier than with an open clothing rack.

The wardrobe ships flat-packed in 1 box (83.07" × 27.64" × 6.10", 142.75 lbs). Check that the 83" box can turn through your hallways, stairs and doorways, and plan for two people to carry it.

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. The item must be unused, unassembled, undamaged and in its original packaging, so keep the boxes until you're sure it's right for you.

Return shipping fees are deducted from the refund after inspection: $80 per package each way for courier delivery ($160 in total), or $300 per item each way for truck delivery ($600 in total). Furniture bought on homsee.com has a 2-year limited warranty covering materials and manufacturing defects, structural frame parts, workmanship, and non-lighting electronic components. Fabrics, seat cushions, leather covers and LED lighting are covered for 1 year.
