Because it is electric, there is no real fire, smoke or gas, so it needs no chimney or vent. For safety, plug the fireplace directly into a wall outlet rather than an extension cord, and keep curtains, blankets and other fabrics away from the heater outlet.

The two side towers hold 10 open shelves in total. Each shelf is about 23.6" wide, 11.8" deep and about 13" tall, which fits standard hardcovers, oversized art books, baskets, plants, framed photos and ceramics.

The symmetrical layout keeps the wall balanced, so you can style one side with books and the other with decor, or mirror them for a classic built-in look.

Yes. Anti-tip hardware is included to secure the unit to the wall. At 78.7" tall, it should always be anchored, especially in homes with children or pets.

Fasten the brackets into wall studs where possible, place heavier books on the lower shelves, and don't let children climb the shelves or mantel.

The frame is made of MDF with a painted, coated finish that resists water, stains, mold and mildew. It is engineered wood, not solid wood, with traditional details like layered crown molding, routed panels and a thick mantel top.

It comes in White, which brightens a room and suits coastal or farmhouse spaces, and Walnut brown, which adds warmth to traditional rooms. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, and turn off and cool the fireplace before cleaning the area around the insert.

The entertainment center ships in 5 boxes weighing 31.5–107.4 lbs each (the longest box is 76.8"). Assembly takes about 180 minutes with two adults, using a screwdriver, a hammer and a pencil.

On the 1500W high setting the heater uses 1.5 kWh per hour; on the 750W low setting it uses 0.75 kWh. At an electricity rate of 16¢ per kWh, that is about 24¢ per hour on high and 12¢ per hour on low.

The thermostat (62–82°F) cycles the heater off once the room reaches your set temperature, so real-world costs are usually lower than running it on high nonstop. Using it for zone heating, warming only the room you are in while turning down central heat, can also help lower overall heating bills.

Return shipping fees are deducted from the refund after inspection: $80 per package each way for courier delivery ($160 in total), or $300 per item each way for truck delivery ($600 in total).
